I'm not sure what that extension did. There is a setting to always display Firefox's context menu even if the page has taken over the contextmenu event. Probably not a complete solution, but you could try it.
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful. (2) In the search box above the list, type or paste menu and pause while the list is filtered (3) Double-click the dom.event.contextmenu.enabled preference to switch the value from true to false You can test on this page: Note: if you do want to interact with the site's menu, tap the Alt key to clear Firefox's menu from in front of it. Considering the implications of this add-on, I can understand but wouldn't agree with it being taken down. It allowed me to easily extract anything virtually from any page and modify it's url to my content to sometimes find a better version say a bigger version of an image, or even one updating in real time. So I'll repeat the question of the OP - what happened to the add-on?
